Education

I received my Master’s in Couple in Family Therapy from Alliant International University and am presently pursuing my PsyD in the same.

Professional

I am a registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist #142362 under the supervision of Sean Davis, Ph.D., LFMT #45885. I began my career in community mental health in San Diego working with LGBTQ+ individuals and people in relationships. I facilitated a Queer support group and conducted training for clinical staff on providing LGBTQ+ affirming care. I offered relationship therapy for individuals in relationships and led a relationship skill building group, where couples strengthened their connection and improved their communication skills. My time in community mental health provided me with the opportunity to empower and support LGBTQ+ individuals, women, and neurodiverse folks in tapping into their sense of curiosity, compassion, and self-leadership within themselves and their relationships.

Grounded in values of compassion, equity, and empowerment, my therapeutic approach is shaped by an intersectional feminist perspective. Drawing from modalities such as AEDP, IFS, DBT and EFT, I provide affirming and integrative care. Whether supporting adults or adolescents in individual, relationship, or family therapy, my aim is to nurture human connection and compassion.

Additionally, at the core of my practice is a commitment to destigmatizing and decolonizing mental health, as I firmly believe that mental well-being is a fundamental right. Recognizing the importance of marginalized identities, I actively engage in owning my own identity and privilege.

Personal

Beyond the therapy room, I find joy in the company of my four dogs and keep myself busy with family and friends. My French bulldog, Dracula, is a regular presence in sessions, often curled up and peacefully dozing nearby.

While I was born in sunny San Diego, I spent a half of my life residing in Baltimore before returning to Southern California. When I’m not working or enjoying the company of my dogs, I spend time with my loved ones—family and friends who bring warmth and laughter to my life.
