Jessika Morrison,
MA, LMFT
I work with adults across the lifespan, including young adults and seniors, to heal from trauma, overcome anxiety, and reconnect with their inner strength, resilience, and well-being. My goal is to provide a safe, supportive environment where clients feel understood, develop effective coping skills, strengthen their inner resilience, and move forward with greater peace, self-compassion, and self-assurance.

Professional

I am a licensed marriage and family therapist (#123812). As a wounded healer with my own trauma history, I don’t sit above your experience, I sit beside it. I bring embodied awareness, humility, and a deep appreciation for the courage it takes to show up for yourself. You do not have to take the first step alone; I’ll walk with you.
I am passionate about supporting clients as they navigate trauma, anxiety, stress, grief, life transitions, and opportunities for personal growth. My approach is grounded in mindfulness and guided by the belief that healing happens through self-compassion, connection, and meaningful change.
I enjoy helping clients process past experiences, build resilience, strengthen coping skills, and reconnect with their strengths and values. Whether you are working through the effects of trauma, managing anxiety, coping with loss, navigating changing relationships, adjusting to retirement, or seeking greater meaning and fulfillment, I strive to create a compassionate, collaborative, and nonjudgmental environment where healing and growth can occur.
My goal is to help clients develop greater self-awareness, cultivate emotional well-being, and move forward with confidence while becoming the most authentic version of themselves.

Personal
As much as I love being a therapist, some of my greatest lessons have come from the roles I hold outside the office. I am a mom, a published poet, and a martial artist with more than 25 years of training. I hold a second-degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do and am currently pursuing my blackbelt in Isshinryu Karate. I find peace and inspiration in nature, especially through birdwatching. Whether I’m on a trail, at the dojo, or writing poetry, I am continually reminded of the importance of resilience, presence, and connection.

Please complete the online intake paperwork before your first session. It takes a while to complete – plan on about 30 minutes – but having this information prior to your arrival helps me make the most of our time together. Everyone seeking treatment in California needs to complete the “intake paperwork.” Only complete the “Release of Information” if requested once we begin meeting. I will provide you with the password.
